Nerve Dating Confessions

February 17, 3:14PM I wish everyone would stop thinking after a break up that they will never feel the same intensity of love again. Unless you decide to live in a cave, there is a world of people. How can there logically only be one for any of us? CAN RELATE (17) CAN'T RELATE (3) FLAG FOR ABUSE

Your problem in trying to understand this is not that you don't have enough experience in love and you're not wrong about the world of people out there, it's that you wrongly mentioned the greatest fallacy in your post: love is not logical. It is completely illogical.

because love and loss changes you in a way which makes it impossible to ever truly open up quite that way again. You don't feel as free and uninhibited, having known the agony and ecstasy you knew before.
