Because the thing to do when people are having emotional problems and an extreme difficulty with connecting with/trusting others, and are doing the responsible thing by trying to get help for it, is to treat them like lepers. Got it.

Have you heard of Jinshinjitsu? Look it up if you are curious. Meanwhile, if you feel nervous, simply hold one of your index fingers in your other hand. Cover the whole finger, and lightly grip it. Keep it that way for 5 minutes or so, and see how you feel. If you can't use both hands, simply touch the tip of your index finger to your thumb. You can do that discreetly under the table at a meeting, walking in public, or on the bus, etc. You are connecting energy circuits, sort of like a mild version of acupuncture, or what are called "mudras" in India. And breathe, maybe even meditate. Then find out what's driving that fear!
