February 11, 2:03PM When I was a kid in school, and everyone had to give out valentines, I'd get the blank ones with no writing on them. To this day I have NEVER been anyone's valentine. I have only ever dated one woman at all and have mostly experienced nothing but heartbreak and unrequitted love. So go ahead, ask me why I'm grumpy this week. I dare you. Pal, I know what you're feeling. But you forget that it is likely that some woman had a crush on you but was too shy to give you a Valentine (the things we'll never know). But more important, have you ever thought about why things have been like this for you? Maybe you are looking in the wrong places. Be nice to yourself. Want to get in better shape? Join a gym. Want to expand your horizons? Learn a language. Like the outdoors? Find a hiking club. All it takes is meeting one person. Maybe you are putting too much emphasis on this. Relax, be confident and someone worth knowing will come along.
