There are plenty of guys in the bottomost 80-90% who have few or only one option and when they get an opportunity of a relationship try really hard to make it work, or at least are very patient with issues. Most divorces are initiated by women because dutiful bores will put up with a lot of issues to keep things going. But for an attractive man, who usually has several women throwing themselves at him in subtle or so-unsubtle ways, why should he make a big effort to make it work or be patient when he can get a new less troubled relationship? So it is the non-broken men, the sexy winners, who won't stick around, because they can do better.
