January 29, 12:25AM Why do lesbians think that straight women are somehow less intelligent or enlightened than they are? Also, why do lesbians think they can "convert" me to their orientation? I'm getting a little weary of having to gently, delicately, diplomatically explain that I am straight as an arrow, think men are wonderful, and have no plans to ever change. I know many lesbians and none of them behave this way or treat me that way. Your sound homophobic.

Why do you need to be diplomatic? If a man came up to you and started telling you how stupid you are, and trying to convert you into a mindset of having sex with him... would you consider being gentle or tolerant? No. Tell these arrogant self righteous cunts to fuck off. "Hey, thanks, I'm straight.. oh you didn't understand me the first time, I guess you're not as smart as you claim. IT means I don't want to have sex with you, and I don't want you to keep trying to have sex with me after I've rejected you, kindly stop your sexual harassment or else I will have to consider you a dangerous predator and report you to someone who will put you in a place where you'll get all the mean dykes you can handle"

It's because they aren't born gay and the only way they can feel good about their shitty lives is to convert others.

Er, some of my best friends are lesbians. Some of them are still telling themselves, and each other, that women are inherently better than men. (It's pervasive in the culture without lesbians involved.) Isn't it ironic that these women who came of age, and have had the benefits of "women's rights", acts of Congress, etc. are reflexively sexist towards men? Don't try to tell them that, most I've attempted to discuss it with see sexism as a one-way street, against women only. For the hardcore "feminists", it's inconceivable that a woman could be sexist. Argh.

actually its more than just reflexive - thats feminist docrtine. I've explored it. She'll say: "yes, sexisum can only occur by a group in a dominant position, and any action, thought or feeling coming from the oppressed group is not sexism, but rather is 'radical' activism". They literally believe that the contextual narrative of 'dominance' and 'privilage' redefines every situation. Nevermind who gets to decide which group is more powerful, or privileged - that's determined by feminist thinkers, and totally beyond question. Men have "clearly" been "in control" for generations. A grand patriarchal conspiracy. Indeed, any attempt to question that narrative is inherently misogynistic. In reality feminists are the only real hardcore sexists, granting themselves absolute authority and privelege to write the script and use it as justification for whatever they want, and demonization of whatever they choose. They're hardcore control freaks and it goes way beyond incidental behaviour. They're insane, completely fucking crazed. When someone calls herself a radical feminist I walk away slowly without turning my back, because that's a person capable of anything; capable of any emotional state, even to the point of murder, and claiming "its not killing if I say its not, I was defending myself because I felt threatened, and because I felt threatened it is by definition defence". There is no objectivity whatsoever to the radical feminist sense of reality. The logic is totally circular, and totally self justifying, and totally immune to criticism. That's what is so appealing to worship it, but it is in fact nothing more than any of the religions that came previous.

@@se - are you just a troll ? Because you definitely aren't making sense, logically or otherwise. You sound crazy. Also, I'm sure it was great for women to be denied education, the right to vote, the right to own property, to be seen AS property for centuries, if not millenia, and the right to be paid way less than men for the same amount of work. Oh, yes, and the latter was no longer the law in the 70s. That's only 40 years ago. If that's not sexism and misogyny, do you want this to be applied to men because it's so great ?

po commented on Jan 29 13 at 8:08 am FLAG FOR ABUSE

Its misandry to apply to me, the things you blame on men who existed before I was even born. You're punishing men for things you view as the crime of manhood.

@po commented on Jan 29 13 at 10:02 am FLAG FOR ABUSE

@ @po, Nice try at diversion. You have added old history to justify your position against po, and have supported his position in doing so, without addressing his well-spoken, and in my experience, entirely accurate portrayal of so-called feminists and their dogma. I've been on the receiving end of harsh, judgmental and largely fabricated justifications for blaming a woman's personal, emotional issues on men and the alleged patriarch more times than I care to recall. Let's call it dogma flogging. And call for more personal accountability, rather than collective finger pointing. I don't use what happened to my ancestors 100 years ago to blame someone in the present for my troubles; why do "feminists" get a pass on the same issue?
