What are you doing to lose weight and how much do you need to lose?

Eat less, do more exercise. If you aren't feeling sore from a workout, or from walking, or some activity, you are doing it wrong.

I never really ate much processed food or sugary stuff. My weight is a direct result of a medical condition. It's now been resolved and I would like to lose about 20 pounds. I'm doing 30 mins of cardio and 30 mins brisk walking every day. My diet has always been mostly vegetables and lean protein. And I do feel sore :) I just wonder what else can be done...

Tea and chewing gum.

Hormones are a probably cause. Specifically, estrogen. It affects your insulin (sugar metabolism) no matter how much you exercise. If you're on the Pill, try a copper IUD instead. And it might be low thyroid, ask your doc to run those tests.

Cut out sugar, fake sugar, dairy, soy, gluten, nuts, alcohol, coffee, high glycemic fruit and red meat for 4 weeks.

Actually, chewing gum stimulates your stomach acids and makes you hungrier. You're tricking your body into thinking food will follow.

Calories in vs. calories burned. It's a really simple equation. Eat less, and exercise more.
