January 16, 1:14PM I keep thinking: "I don't know how much longer I can do this". Then I remember her saying "I don't think I ever really loved you". 9 years... And it was all a fabrication? The love of my life whom I still think about hourly, and I need to go on like this for the rest of my life. Then I think - I need a smoke. I can't last long, I need to shorten my time. What a mother lode of issues here. Get thee to a counselor! Clearly, your life has changed, and she's no longer the "love of your life". If I had a nickel for every "I'm lost my one and only and I can't go on!!" lament... And don't take her confusion too seriously. At the same time, she might be right. Women get married for all sorts of reasons that have little to do with "true love". some of those reasons are reprehensible. Relax, ladies, men have been known to do the same.

Ha. I always appreciate a subtle hamlet reference. Anyway. For the most part I haven't gotten over it I've merely learned to function against the background of such thoughts, with these confessions getting me through the empty spaces in the day when I need a distraction from work, and can't focus without setting my feelings someplace.

that is some BULLSHIT. Obviously that was a rude fucking thing to say. But if she didn't love you she would have bounced waaaaay before the 9 year mark. So take heart in that. Maybe you guys were in a rut or shes depressed or something, or wanted to cheat. Go watch that movie "Crazy stupid love" i think it will help
