Why is it that you want to cheat? What are you looking for?

Just be single then, if you're so unhappy. Your partner deserves someone who's happy to be with them.

You can be happy with someone and still want to cheat. Love/attachment and the primitive sex drive just diverge in the brain as a relationship develops. It's evolution and genetic fitness. We pair bond to be able to raise children and also survive as a team, yet as long as we are able, we are compelled to want to keep spreading our genes. You can cheat *because* you are happy with someone and respect and want to keep that relationship, and keep it separate and hidden from the primal urge for the new. It is good that your moral sense is overriding this.
