The feeling is mutual.

I work with kids, and I can tell you that kids are just like adults in that they all have different personalities. Some of them are awesome and amazing and some of them are annoying as fuck.

Childfree is the way to go. I've never met an older childfree person that regretted not having kids

totally agree. so sick of hearing "oh i used to say the same thing. you'll change your mind " if tubal ligation wasnt so invasive.. I'd do it tomorrow!

I'm so grateful that the childfree attitude is becoming widely accepted by self centered people. No more abusive parents...woohoo!

It's not just self-centered people, it's people who know that having children is extremely difficult and expensive. Why would I want to bring children into this world if I can't give them my best, psychologically, emotionally, and financially. I think it's extremely self-centered when people who are not stable think having kids is a solution.

Your best doesn't have to be perfect. In fact, as they say, "the perfect is the enemy of the good." Setting perfection as a standard for your children is actually a disservice to them--they'll be better off learning how to cope with imperfection, stronger and more stable throughout their lives.

Who said anything about perfect. It's a given that children/people will exerience negativity throughout their lives. My comment addresses people who think having children is a solution, to keeping a man or to make up for their less than stellar childhood.
