Nerve Dating Confessions

January 13, 4:42AM I always thought that I wanted to get married, but one of my friends explained to me why she never wanted to get married, and it kind of made sense. It's kind of nice to be with someone just because you want to be, knowing that you could easily leave at any moment. CAN RELATE (9) CAN'T RELATE (4) FLAG FOR ABUSE

On the other hand, once you've established that you'll (probably) want to be bound up with someone forever, there are all the tax/legal/financial benefits to being married. Best of both worlds -- be a successful couple for a long ass time, then eventually get married when it would be silly not to.

Fear of commitment and not wanting to have to work that much harder to make it work and get through difficult times. Cowards.
