Nerve Dating Confessions

January 7, 11:52AM I think I'm allergic to my boyfriends penis. Possible? Ever since him I've had constant yeast infections and UTI's but when I get tested for a UTI the doctor sees nothing. It's really weird and it really sucks but no one can seem to figure out wtf is wrong with me. CAN RELATE (5) CAN'T RELATE (2) FLAG FOR ABUSE

I think your boyfriend is screwing someone else as well, that's usually what causes those types of infections.

Screwing other people gives you STDs, idiot, not UTIs and men rarely pass yeast infections. Also if op is going to a doctor to get tested and it's coming back negative it's not an STD.

does he wash under his foreskin properly? perhaps you are allergic to either latex from condoms or to spermicide. or perhaps the way you guys have sex is affecting your urethra.

zxc isn't wrong, but there is another possibility: Men can have yeast infections, too, and his symptoms may not be a pronounced/noticeable as yours; tranfser between partners is not common - but it's possible and maybe you too are good at transferring it. You should both be treated at the same time otherwise you will continually transfer it between you. And, if you haven't already, get a full STD panel to eliminate other possibilities. (You said the doc checked for UTI, not specific STDs. The STD tests need to be specific)

We got tested before we started sleeping together. He's not cheating. He's been tested for infections (uti and yeast) results come back this week. I'm stumped.

This happened to me once. We used condoms, and the doctor said I didn't test positive for anything, but it was most likely irritation from the latex or a mild yeast infection. She said there are some strands of yeast that are very tiny and difficult to test for and recommended I treat it as a yeast infection just in case.

Or maybe you just need to make sure he's clean first. Dirty penis means unhappy vag. Also, if any other parts of his body (fingers, etc) go in your vag before he does, make sure they are clean first!

You could be pregnant

Is it his cock or his cum? If you're not using condoms, and only get irritation after sex, it could be sensitivity to semen. After oral, do you get a sore throat or anything?

TeD commented on Jan 7 13 at 10:45 pm FLAG FOR ABUSE

@TeD I've always felt that, with any partner, after oral my throat felt thick but I wouldn't say with my current guy I've felt any sort of irritation, like soreness or swelling and I swallow his cum. It does however make me feel a bit sick for awhile, nausea. I'm really hoping its not an allergy. Yes the irritation only occurs when we have sex but it isn't short lived - it last for days, weeks.
