Naah, it's a good reason to break up if one side knows it isn't reciprocal. Once that info comes out there's no pretending it isn't still under the surface even if the other party pretends to lighten up. Think of it as a favor from someone who doesn't want to string you along and hurt your feelings later when you're even more attached.
