April 19, 4:24PM Why do men feel compelled to ask, "So, am I good at [insert sex act here]?" If you have to ask, you're probably mediocre, at best. When a woman volunteers the information that you did indeed rock her fucking world, that's how you know you done good, kid. Men need to stop fucking their egos, and start fucking women. What's with the attitude? The world is full of inexperienced men (and women) who are just trying to figure things out. Some of them are actually eager to please. Your hostility won't help.

I guess it bothers me because they never seem to ask because they're concerned about my pleasure, but more so they can puff their chests out. I'm all for communication during sex, but don't ask me to validate your manhood hours after we've fucked.

You've been fucking the wrong guys

the question shouldn't be "was I good?" it should be "did you like that? how can I make it better for you?"OP phrased it in an overly antagonistic manner but she is right... some guys are more interested in bragging rights than in pleasing their partner.

The OP makes a good point.I can understand her frustration and I am a man. Hopefully other men will take note. Well done OP.

Why do women feel compelled to fake orgasms rather than be honest? The sword has 2 edges.

Women feel the need to fake orgasms for the exact same reason- men's fragile egos.

Take it as a way to open the converasation, a conversation that is hard to start. Your response should be, 'I really like it when you. . .' or 'Next time, we could try. . .' Give the guy a little bit of slack.
